6 Days 5 Nights Abuja, Lokoja, Minna, Bida, and Zungeru.
One of the most interesting historical tours is the one that takes you through the city of Abuja down to Lokoja, Minna, Bida, and Zungeru. All the cities except Abuja have something in common- the history of colonialism in Nigeria- from Lokoja to Minna, Bida and Zungeru, you will encounter Nigeria’s colonial history with existing relics. It promises to be fascinating.
Abuja has no shortage of fantastic architecture, some of which include the Abuja National Mosque, which was built in 1984 by Lodigiani Nigeria and designed by AIM Consultants. The mosque is an explorer’s delight and is open to the public except during prayer times. The National Christian Centre, with its neo-gothic design, is another architectural monument that will delight the tourist. Others include the National Library, the Ministry of Defence (built in the shape of a ship), ECOWAS Secretariat, and so much more.

Day1. City Tour of Abuja
Sightseeing around the city to see the central business district, the three arms zone, Aso Rock, Katampe hill, The cultural centre, Sheu Yar’adua centre and the crafts village

Day 2. Breakfast
Depart Abuja for Lokoja
Arrive in Lokoja for sightseeing
Visit Mount Patti, Lord Lugard house, First Primary school in northern Nigeria, Visit the confluence of Rivers Niger and Benue, and Boat ride to the Confluence.
Lunch and overnight stay

Depart Lokoja for Minna
Arrive in Minna
Sightseeing of Minna with visits to the old railway terminus, Central Minna and Market
