5 DAYS 4 NIGHTS TOUR OF OBUDU MOUNTAIN RESORT.
Obudu mountain resort is a destination on a plateau with a temperate climate all year round. It is accessible from Calabar. This is a resort and a destination on its own. There are varieties of interesting activities to engage the tourist on a daily basis.
The resort is found on the Obudu Plateau, close to the Cameroon border in the northeastern part of Cross River State, approximately 110 kilometers (68 mi) east of the town of Ogoja and 65 kilometers (40 mi) from the town of Obudu in Obanliku Local Government Area of Cross River State. It is about 30 minutes drive from Obudu town and is about a 332 kilometers (206 mi) drive from Calabar, the Cross River State capital.
The ranch has in recent times seen an influx of both Nigerian and international tourists because of the development of tourist facilities by the Cross-River State Government, which has turned the ranch into a well-known holiday and tourist resort center in Nigeria. It has a serene climate compared to other regions in Nigeria
Itinerary.
DAY 1. Mountain Resort
Depart from Calabar for a six-hour drive to the mountain resort located on a mountain of about 1,500 meters above sea level. This is an alluring resort on the border between Nigeria and Cameroon. Overnight stay.
DAY 2. : Moutain Resort
After breakfast, you will have a range of activities to engage in. The mountain resort is a vast area with opportunities to explore. Some of the attractions available to be visited for the next two days include the following: Hiking, Cable Ride, and Birdwatching.
DAY 3: Cataract View - Hiking time of 6hours
DAY 4: Monkeyface View- 3hours
