ZUMA ROCK
Niger State
It is located in Suleja, along the Kaduna/Abuja highway. It is a beautiful, giant rock that was used for defensive purposes by the Gwari natives against invading neighboring tribes during inter-tribal wars. As one gets closer, a human-like face becomes visible with engravings representing the eye sockets, the nose, and the mouth on the side of the rock facing the Abuja road. Zuma rock represents a beautiful and unique work of nature.
The rock is about 107km from Minna and about 39km from the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
